Shira Gladstone is the Associate Camp Director at Camp Yachad; a JCC day camp located in Scotch Plains NJ. In her role, she is directly responsible for the hiring and supervision of nearly 350 staff as well as overseeing the camper care team and camp inclusion programs. A true camp 'lifer' she eagerly began her camp career after experiencing day and resident camps as a camper and has spent the last 25 years rising through the industry ranks to now bring a 'camp with intention' approach to her leadership style. Shira is also a standards volunteer for ACA as well as a past contributing writer for ACA's CAMPING magazine.
