Maren joined the Princeton-Blairstown Center in 2019 as the Communications and Special Events Manager and transitioned to the role of Assistant Director in 2022. She was promoted to the role of Co-Director of the Blairstown Campus in 2024. Her experience working with young people in the outdoors began during her five years with the National Park Service, followed by five years with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation. She holds a BA from The College of New Jersey in Communications and Environmental Studies and received her MPA from NYU's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service in 2019. Maren completed a course in Risk Management for Outdoor Programs from Viristar. She is a certified Red Cross Lifeguard, Wilderness First Responder, and an ACCT Level I (Low Ropes) practitioner. She is also certified to teach Red Cross First Aid and CPR.
