Susan Lee is the Founder of the Broadway Education Alliance Inc., a New York based non-profit organization working at the intersection of business development and audience engagement. For over three decades she has been the architect of many cross-industry initiatives that have helped modernize Broadway's marketing practices. In 1995 she founded Camp Broadway®, Broadway's original enrichment program for theater-loving kid, which is the recipient of a 2016 special Drama Desk Award for its contribution to the sector. From 2005-2015, she was the Chief Marketing Officer for The Nederlander Organization where she launched Audience Rewards, Broadway's official loyalty program (now serving 3+ million theatergoers); the InTheater Network, BroadwayDirect.com and co-founded The National High School Musical Theatre Awards aka The Jimmy's Awards. BEA continues to produce The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance, the Greater New York Regional Awards of the national program.
