Peer-to-peer abuse can mean a lot of things, from camper-to-camper incidents to allegations of sexual assault by one staff member against another, whether at camp or during time off. This session will address the increase in frequency and severity of peer-to-peer abuse at camps across the country and how to adjust our policies, including staff training, to prevent and identify these incidents. We will also address the legal implications and what we can do to protect ourselves, focusing on how to respond to these allegations and how to follow the ever-changing mandated reporting requirements.
