Camp is an environment of unique supervisory dynamics. Great counselors are promoted to supervisory roles that ask them to support the development of young staff while maintaining the safety of their campers. Being a great counselor does not always translate to being a great supervisor. In this session, we will focus on giving camp leaders the skills they need to train their first-time supervisors to effectively lead, coach, and develop their staff.
