Winner of the Tri-State Award, Michael Brandwein (michaelbrandwein.com) is an internationally renowned staff trainer, educator, and author who has presented in every one of the fifty U.S. states and on six of the seven continents. He wrote and presented three EMMY award-winning television programs on communicating with young people. Michael is the number one best-selling author of camp staff training and supervision books. His keynotes include the global International Camp Conference attended by 30 countries. Michael has served on the national board of directors of ACA and has received two national honors from ACA. Michael does staff and Leadership Team training for individual camps and is a frequent keynoter at conferences for youth development organizations, schools, youth professionals, and others. His Juris Doctor degree is from the University of Chicago. He is based in the Chicago area where he lives with his wife Donna. Their two sons are a musician and special needs teacher.
