Today's young adults are growing up in a world filled with the pressures to perform to perfection and constant competition. Consequently families, schools, and camps can find stressed out, anxious adolescents or young adults who may have difficulty functioning in school or possibly in every day life tasks. This workshop will focus on identifying what normal stress reactions look like, how to identify the signs of anxiety, and why this age group tends to have "all or nothing" thinking. Strategies on how to help staff find balance in order to reduce these pressures will be presented.
