In December of 2023, Camp Nock-A-Mixon completed and turned on its 4th and final solar array, sized to completely offset its electrical usage for the year. This session will go over that process from start to finish. Topics will include solar company proposals, permitting, construction, financial and payback equations, state and federal grants, tax implications, energy offset graphs and data, as well as stories and lessons learned.
