Working with staff of different generations can have its challenges- variations in values, life experiences, expectations, and so much more. Understanding these differences is necessary to motivate, mentor, and rely on the young adults that we consider to be our front line staff, primarily those in Gen Z. Camp Ramaquois has identified various strategies that we have implemented over the past few summers to support and develop ALL of our staff, and have grown to recognize that these strategies specifically target the characteristics and needs of those in Gen Z. This session will focus on 3 of these strategies that can be adapted to any camp environment.
