Join us for an overview of what you need to know about the business of summer camp. This session is designed for the camping professional who aspires to become an owner or director or for directors who want to better understand the business side of their organizations. This session will touch on a few key concepts: basic financial management; the tax code and its impact; how to both build and understand your cash flow; cash management, and a few other things you should know about running a camp from the owners or agency perspective.
For purposes of this session some basic accounting skills, along with a knowledge of spreadsheets, are a plus.
