Bus Counselors are vital to day camp and serve many purposes. None is more important than supervising the campers so that the bus driver can devote their full attention to safe driving. Bus Counselors are the only face to face interaction that most families will encounter during the summer. I will run you through how I organize a bus counselor orientation and what we cover during our training. The bus ride to and from camp is an extension of the camp day so we have a variety of ways to make it fun and engaging for campers.
